Don’t Give Up On Your 2020 Resolutions Just Yet!

1. Break it down. Breaking down a huge goal into smaller steps gives you insight into what needs to be done to achieve your goal. It can also make you feel far less overwhelmed and more in control of your goals.
So if your goal is to get into a home of your own, you could break it down into 5 ‘sensationally’ easy steps;
2. Consult the Experts. If you’ve set yourself a goal that’s out of your personal area of expertise, there is absolutely no harm in bringing in the big guns and consulting an expert. You’ll probably find that first consultations for most things are usually free (I know ours are). It’s a great way of wrapping your head around your goals. And it can also help you determine what you need to do to achieve them.
So if your goal is to lose 20kg a great place to start may be to meet with a trainer and get them to help you put a program together tailored to your goals.
3. Start. Setting yourself the goal to lose 20kg or get a home of your own within a 12 month period can feel daunting and unachievable, but it’s going to be worse when you get half way through the year and haven’t started yet. It’s amazing how quickly things fall into place once you’ve taken that very first step.
